Petite pause de printemps

Je parts en vacances vous n'aurez donc pas de mes nouvelles pendant qlq jours.
J'en profite donc pour vous remercier de venir si nombreux lire mes petites histoires.

Je reviendrai à la rentrée avec des nouveaux projets ... mais c'est un peu tot pour vous en parler :-)

CR - CPC IV - Giorgio m'a tué !!!

Bon je suis tombé dans le piège du Giorgio hier soir !
Son jeu pour le moins aggressif m'a bien surpris et j'ai callé un all-in avec seconde paire au flop contre sa double paire... Je sais c'est moche ! En plus en connaissant le bougre j'aurais du me douter qu'il est toujours accompagné d'une sacrée paire (suffit de voir son avatar) !!!

Hier soir C'était le grand soir !

Mon plus gros buy in et mon plus gros tournois (hormis le 215 de ps).
Je rentre un peu stressé dans la bataille, j'observe les premiers tours et tente un premier coup avec AJs UTG+1 je double la blind, on me relance je fold.

puis vient KK je faits 5BB deux suiveurs. flop plein de babies je fait 10BB tapis annoncé à ma droite...
c'est moche je call. (je ne me permet pas de lacher deux rois) en ayant peur du brelan. et boum brelan en face mais un k à la river me fait me rassoire :-))

Pov gars en face il meritait pas ca.

Puis je crame un gros pot en relance à tapis contre un gars qui avait KK. et pas de miracle pour mon AK.

S'en suit une longue période de jeu au chat et à la sourie.

plus que 6 tables et je double avec AK contre AK. Mon As de pique me donne la couleur.
J'ai eu une chance insolente hier soir.

Plus que 4 tables je double encore avec T2s contre 99 sur un vol malheureux mais ou je chatte une fois encore.

malgré c'est coups de chance, je n'ai pas touché de jeu et mon tapis est juste à la moyenne.

nous sommes plus que 35 je tente un vol avec QT, on me relance je fold.
plus que 1800 sur des blinds 75.150 et on passe bientot à 100/200.

Je décide d'attaquer pour prendre le risque de monter tout de suite et éviter la bulle. une relance de 3BB à ma droite je faits boite, le type paye avec AK contre mes KJ. pas de miracle je sorts 35 ème.

Conclusion j'ai eu bcp de chance, j'ai joué très moyennenemt et jamais je n'ai pu m'exprimer, jouer les flops ou quoi que ce soit.

Un peu frustrant quoi !

J'aurai pu attendre avec mon KJ. J'aurai du attendre mais bon si ce coup passe je peux me mettre a accélérer et c'est une autre histoire. Tanpis ce sera partie remise.

Ce qui est sur c'est que le niveau est bien plus sérieux à cette limite. Et il faut respecter les raises, encore plus les reraise !

Next step dimanche soir le 100$ sur pokerchamps, je vous le conseille vivement il semble très très rentable ...

Petit tour de chauffe avant demain soir

Bon demain je vais tenter le 250€ à l'acf... le plus gros buy in jamais tenté pour ma part !!!

La pression monte doucement la structure est pas mal avec 100BB pour commencer et des rounds de 30mn.

Aussi pour s'échauffer un peu entrainement sur pokerchamps avec deux tournois
le 1500$ garanti de 20.00
le 2000$ garanti de 21.00

La structure est identique à celle de demain donc ca va être l'occasion de la tester et de se concentrer un peu.

J'aime bien pokerchamps pour la structure de ses tournois même si elle a un peu diminué, et parceque le niveau y est vraiment bon. Principalement peuplé de scandinave, je doits bien avouer qu'ils sont plutot costaux les loustics niveau poker.

Un bon mélange entre des losse aggressifs et des joueurs solides qui ne lachent pas facilement leur main.

Dans tous les cas RDV mercredi soir pour ceux qui compte faire le 250€ et bonne chance à tous.

Dupont t'es trop con - V2

Bon c'est vrai qu'en lisant les comptes rendu du club poker sur ce qui se passe à monte carlo, ca donne grave envie de jouer.

Je me dis donc, ce soir c'est tournois !
Je m'inscrits à 4 tournois sur PS en simultanée dont le 3+R.

Je me faits sortir de tous sauf du 3+R et j'arrive (à 2h00 du mat') dans les demies.
Mon dieu que c'est long, et le sommeil me guete. Quoi qu'il en soit il y a 3400$ à la gagne, les joueurs sont concentrés et jouent un poker propre dans l'ensemble.

Et la je craque comme svt en demi ces derniers temps.

voici la main. Et faut vraiment être con pour la jouer comme je l'ai fait.
Je poste donc cette main pour me jurer de ne plus jamais faire ce move débile :)

Long et dur est le chemin qui mène au $ucce$

Bon et bien après décembre et janvier au taquet, février et mars sont un bon vieux retour de bâton dans ma gueule.

Tout le monde connait des swings au pok pok, qui entraînent des remises en questions des doutes... Perso la plus longue période de bad swing avait durée plus de deux mois de pertes consécutive. Au bout d'un moment ça devenait vraiment lassant.


Bcp d'articles très intéressants on déjà été écrit à ce sujet :

Que ce passe t'il dans la tête de LCF dans ces moments la ???
1- Je rebuy
2- Je rebuy et je me dis que je peux cruncher la table
3- Je rebuy et je me dis que je suis le meilleur y a pas de raison
4- AAAAAHHHH c'est vraiment moche cette période
5- Je deviens un peu plus frileux et je me fais batter
6- J'arrête de jouer
7- Je descends de limite.

Si ça persiste ... et bien pas de panique je recommence le process depuis le 1.

En fait toute la clé selon moi c'est la gestion de sa bankroll.
Et sur ce point je suis très très rigoureux.

Le princepoker proposait un tableau très intéressant proposant grosso modo de jouer environ 20 caves mini devant soit avant de s'asseoir à une table.

Perso je me suis fixé plutôt
- en cash game plus de 30 caves de bankroll devant moi.
- en tournois plus de 50 buy in.

Ensuite et c'est sans doute le plus dur pour l'orgueil c'est de savoir redescendre de limite quand on a touché au doux frisson des grosses tables. Et savoir jouer sérieux sur les plus petites tables qd on redescend.

Si vous voulez monter une bankroll ou éviter la bankrupt, respecter les limites de sécurité (les miennes sont excessives mais fonctionnent très bien).

Article #1 - Les conceptes clés des tournois de THNL

Le poker repose (selon moi) sur 3 concepts clés :
1 - Jouer un style avec lequel on se sent à son aise.
2 - Dominer l'adversaire.
3 - Décevoir l'adversaire.

1 - Jouer un style avec lequel on se sent à son aise.


Il y a deux styles de jeu en tournois de THNL qui sont très efficaces :
a) le style serrure d'acier à la John Juanda
b) le style loose déglingo à la Gus Hansen

L'idée est de trouver son style qui nous permette d'être à l'aise (notamment en live ou le stress est plus important encore qu'on-line).

Je conseille au débutant de commencer par le style serrure plus facile à appliquer.
En quoi consiste t'il :
Il s'agit de ne jouer que les meilleures mains et de respecter au maximum la position. Concrètement cela se traduit par miser autour de 4 BB pré flop avec de bonnes mains. Par bonnes mains j’entends AQ minimum UTG et pas moins de AJ en middle et AT au bouton. Cela seulement qd le pot n'a pas encore été ouvert. Les critères doivent se resserrer encore plus si le pot a déjà été ouvert.
Ensuite il s'agit de jouer de manière assez binaire : Raise ou Fold. Eviter au maximum les call. En d'autre terme soit on se voit devant et on mise. Soit on se voit derrière et on fold. Il faut bcp de rigueur pour appliquer ce concept durant un tournois tout entier. Pourtant il est terriblement efficace. Et un joueur débutant peut gagner un tournois en appliquant juste ses qlq règles.
En appliquant se principe. Les adversaires vont se mettre à respecter vos relances et à éviter les confrontations marginales avec vous. Résultat vous savez que si q vous call = WARNING. Votre jeu deviendra de plus en plus facile au fur et à mesure du tournoi.
Inconvénient : Il faut énormément de patience et de sang froid pour ne pas paniquer avec l'augmentation des blinds. Souvenez vous qu'il est tjs possible de revenir dans un tournois avec 1 malheureux petit jeton. J'en ai fait l'expérience comme bcp d'autre au club poker. Autre inconvénient les vieux lascars vont attaquer vos blinds. Laisser les faire !!!! Ce n'est pas votre stratégie.

Pour les stats il m'arrive de jouer moins de 11% de mains sur un tournois en mode serrure (avec 8% de de flop vu en dehors des blinds).


B) Le mode loose déglingo
L’objectif est je voir un max de flop et de jouer la lecture de l'adversaire, la position, et la profondeur du tapis. Ce style est bien plus technique. Il faut aussi avoir le coeur bien accrocher et encaisser les swings. Pour toutes ces raisons ce style ne peut pas être supporté par tous les joueurs. Il faut une petite dose de folie ou d'inconscience pour pouvoir le pratiquer.
Cela se traduit par reraiser avec des mains comme paire de 4 en position ou 67s.
Envoyer son tapis au moindre signe de faiblesse de l'adversaire sur une river dangereuse...
Bref prendre des risques. L'objectif étant de monter son tapis pour ensuite pourvoir gambler un peu avec les short stacks. Ce style fonctionne si l'on arrive à se maintenir tjs au dessus de la moyenne en jeton. La difficulté est de savoir calmer le jeu et ne pas s'enflammer.

L'avantage est qu'il permet de mieux lire l'adversaire qui finira pas être docile :)
Au bout d'un moment vos adversaires vont vous laisser votre gros blind de peur de votre réaction + ils seront habitués à folder sous vos relances + ils vous attendront avec leurs meilleures mains. Donc à la moindre réaction de leur part vous savez à quoi vous attendre et donc vous pouvez vous adapter.
Enfin ce style à l'avantage de vous faire payer vos meilleures mains car plus personne ne vous croira !!!

Encore une fois il faut bcp de sang froid et une bonne lecture adverse ce qui demande de l'expérience.

Pour les stats cela se traduit par 25% de flop vu.

Ces deux styles sont très opposés mais j'ai tendance à croire que la solution passe par le fait de bien se connaitre et de jouer son style à fond.
A vous de choisir avec lequel vous avez le plus de plaisir et vous vous sentez le plus à l'aise.

2 - La notion de domination.

La domination est fondamentale au poker cela consiste à laisser 3 outs maximum à l'adversaire. Par exemple on domine sont adversaire en ayant AK contre AQ.
Tout le concept repose sur l'idée qu'il ne faut pas chasser les jeux adverses que vous pouvez battre pour ne vous retrouver que contre les jeux qui vous battent.

Cas pratique : vous êtes UTG et vous possédez AJo (vous vous dites pas mal comme main de départ) mais en même temps cette main est vulnérable et il reste pas mal de joueur à parler derrière vous. Donc vous miser 5 BB comme ça les autres se coucheront...
Le problème c'est que si vous êtes caller vous etes normalement battu.
Donc vous n'avez rien à gagner en dehors des blinds.

Tout le jeu consiste donc à miser suffisamment pour ne pas faire fuir les jeux que vous dominer.

Pour cela il faut maîtriser les subtilités des différentes mains et savoir combien miser pour dominer l'adversaire.

Par exemple cela peut valoir le coup de caller un léger raise avec AQ ou de limper avec KQ plutôt que de relancer.

Faite attention à présent aux jeux de vos adversaire qd vous raiser pour voir si vous êtes dominé ou si vous dominer l'autre.


3 - La déception

La déception consiste à développer une image et jouer à l'opposé.
Si vous être une vielle serrure, cela vaut le coup de relancer utg de 3 BB avec 67s.
Soit vous volerez les blinds avec une main marginale, soit vous savez que votre adversaire à une bonne main et vous pouvez le surprendre en touchant votre flop.

Il faut varier son jeu une fois l'image bien établie à la table. On peut appeler cela changer de rythme également.

Décevoir l'adversaire c'est également ne pas faire de continuation bet de temps en temps ou changer ses habitudes de mises. Il faut varier son jeu sans que l'adversaire ne s'en rende compte.

Conclusion

En choisissant votre style naturel vous allez créer une image à la table. Cette image va vous suivre et vos adversaires vont s'adapter à votre style. A partir de la vous devez changer de rythme et les décevoir. C'est ainsi que vous gagnerez de gros pot ce qui vous permettra de gagner du temps dans le tournoi.
Enfin chercher à dominer vos adversaires dans votre façon de miser en fonction de vos mains et de vos positions.

SAT pour le WPT Paris - Round 1

Bon hier soir j'avais bien envi de faire un pti tournois live.

Du coup on est parti avec lapin ("Mr Peters") faire le 30+R à l'ACF.

ce tournois donne droit aux 5 premiers de se qualifier pour une phase finale le dimanche 4 juin permettant de gagner une place pour le WPT de Paris cet été (10 000€ l'entrée tout de même).

Pendant les rebuy je joue bien sur la première période puis tente qlq bluff tous pourris résultat rien du tout.

Je rebuy, prends l'add on et me voila short stack pour attaquer la partie freezout.

Un premier me permet de faire du jeton et de revenir dans le pack.
Puis arrive un coup ou j'ai 55 en HU sur un flop qui ressemble à 79T je check (pas de trips) mais mon adversaire fait tapis.
Ce tapis m'interpelle, je ne le vois pas sur une gros paire (>10) donc plutot sur deux grosses cartes. J'ai un peu peur du AT, mais je le vois sur des plus grosses cartes.... il semble avoir le stress monter en lui... humm tout ca me parait bien louche.

Je me vois devant mais avec des tirages pour lui...
Allez let's gamble je retourne mes 55 (pas très fier qd meme) il retourne KQ (10 outs) un Q à la river et il me reste 20 chips !!!

Bon celui la je l'ai bien cherché.

Aussitot je change de table et je passe en mode auto boite.
Le pov gars à ma place m'a donné sont tapis en trois coup :
- un coin flip pour moi
- A4 contre middle paire pour lui (je fait quinte)
- KQ pour moi contre Q8 pour lui

je crois qu'il m'en veux encore un peu lol.

Je suis revenu près de 300 et je gère le tournois après en jouant tight aggressive jusqu'à finir à 1500 dans les 5 derniers.

Pas énorme comme tapis mais bon je me suis bien marré et ca fait plaisir de chatter un peu.

Bon je suis un peu trop deg pour faire un compte rendu mais le niveau est assez bon sur ce tournois. Bien meilleur que le niveau auquel je joue habituellement sur les 20$ et 50$.

C'est ma deuxième tentative et je n'ai pas trop de chance pour le moment.
La dernière fois je saute KK vs AA préflop !!!

Et bien voila, je me suis enfin lancé dans le 200+15 de PS du dimanche soir.
Je rentrai tout juste de we, pas trop fatigué et une petite voix me disais, aller Fred, c'est pas raisonnable mais fait le !... c'est ton jour tu va voir ...

Donc je m'inscrits, plus de 4000 joeurs au compteur !!!!
Un prize pool > à 780.000$ c'est dingue.

Je décide de jouer la prudence les premiers rounds pour voir venir...

des pti raise avec AQ des pti call avec small pp.
on a fait qlq mains et je suis à 2650.

Puis KK UTG. je call dans l'idée de relancer.
mais on est 5 dans le pot qd finalement le BB relance à 120. oufff !
Je relance à 350 et tout le monde se couche jusqu'au BB qui me raise à 1000...
Merde ca sent les As... je me tatte un peu et balance mon tapis !

Il call et montre les As !!!

Total < 10mm de jeu ... (c'est vraiment dur à coucher, mais son re re raise ca veut bien dire qlq chose) lecon à 215$ merci monsieur.

Je n'ai pas assez joué donc je me lance dans un pti sng 55$, 18 joueurs.
Juste à ma droite il y a jeffray du club poker.

Après avoir joué super serré et frollé l'élimination à la bulle, je remporte le tournois :-)

Puis un peu de cash game en PLO avec mon pote Mr Peters avant de faire un pti dodo.

Je retenterai l'expérience du 200+15 ASAP.

Bon clairement déçu.
En dehors de qlq call un peu stupides, mais jamais dans des situations de danger, j'ai le sentiment d'avoir bien joué.
J'ai bien embusqué, j'ai fait de bon call en début de parti.
Mais je perds 3/4 de mes coins flip et celui que je gagne arrive trop tard contre bluefox.

Vos impressions m'interessent ...

Deauville... pas pour cette année

Bon et bien mon principal objectif qui était de faire Deauville est reporté d'un an :(

Le boulot m'empêche de me libérer pour faire le main event. J'ai donc préférer ne pas utiliser mes tikets pour les qualifs à 360+20$ de PS.
Deux tikets que j'utiliserai pour la prochaine saison de l'EPT.

Idem pour mon 3000FPP que je reporte à plus tard.

Enfin le sat pour le 1060$ organisé par CP au dernier moment... les choses n'ont pas été très heureuses pour moi. Principalement par un manque de chance sur mes coin flip au moment ou je pouvait faire du jeton !!!
